What does it mean to truly run the race of faith? In this message, we are challenged to examine whether we have quietly settled into a comfortable faith that asks nothing of us, or whether we are actively engaging with the life and purpose God has set before us. Drawing from Hebrews 12, where we are called to run with endurance while fixing our eyes on Jesus, we are reminded that direction matters just as much as movement. The sin of sloth is unpacked in a way that goes far beyond simple laziness. It encompasses the spiritual paralysis that sets in when we grow comfortable, the apathy that whispers that someone else is better qualified, and the restless busyness that keeps us constantly moving but never truly engaged with what matters most.
